Let's face it, as a business owner you have a lot on your plate. Wearing every hat can be taxing for somebody who finds it hard to generate the inspiration to market captivating content at times. We're here to help you with that creative consistency.

7 WAYS OF THINKING

THAT BRING FUNCTIONALITY TO YOUR

CREATIVE IMAGINATION

"Everything listed below is of the UPMOST importance. If you want to make a

difference, you shouldn't take this kind of stuff lightly."

1.) Have you ever been inspired by a mark on your refrigerator?... Or something as random as that question just was? Those random things that inspire thoughts toward an idea for content should be built on why you're getting inspired by whatever it is that inspires you. WHY does this look nice to me? WHY was my eye drawn to that? Focusing on this when creating, instead of will ensure you don't remind people too much of what's already out there. This opens up a door of opportunity, allowing you to be an innovative image in your market, and to your audience. It also enhances the effectiveness of your designs.

2.) Aim to bring an enticing flare to your marketing material. One that your business can claim to own and follow from start to finish. This can help prepare you for your workload by getting a head start on the next post or piece in the marketing campaign. So, you know what's next; for instance, one of

your brand colors, your logo & a quote from your list.

3.) The overall aesthetic of the piece matters. Composition, framing, font type & size, leading, kerning, and a few others -- they'll set your image apart from the average business in the eyes of your audience. Keep in mind; though they are not dumb by any means, the average attention span of a customer is around 10 seconds.

4.) At the end of the day showing up is showing up. No matter how you do it. FALSE.

One should never feel anxious about marketing. To avoid this, get CLEAR on WHAT you do, and WHY you do what you do. This will help you deliver something that directly speaks to a chosen audience, by giving you a vision to remember that explains the mission statement of your business -- so clear, you can memorize it. So clear -- you can explain it to people vividly. Keep in mind, when building; you shouldn't aim to promote what your unsure about. If it happens, revamps are necessary. But it's an opinion of mine; "quantity over quality" is counter-productive.

5.) Storytime! A lot of people's reason behind marketing is to generate traffic. Which in turn drives engagement. Improve your imagination & narrative writing by journaling your dreams. (Writing down your dreams help your subconscious memory, and writing down something you dreamt about is like telling yourself a story you lived through. With time it will enhance your creative writing.) Getting good at this will be a great skill to have in your arsenal when copywriting... AKA writing your captions! Even typographic design work... The right words together may trigger a person to read more, to inquire, even to purchase!

6.) Use trending techniques, but create your own concept! Get a leg up on competitors by being quick to understand how people are attracted to certain content in the present sense. If 7 second videos are being pushed by software developers at Instagram™ , then go head and get in on the extra exposure and produce something that has a guaranteed greater effect than anything of the contrary. If multi-media posts work well with an audience you want to target? Implement this style of content into your marketing efforts!

7.) Analytics are your friend. Don't get sucked into creating a repetitive posting schedule without knowing how to speak to your followers. Yeah, post often. But notice what times, and what types of people who have engaged, or are engaging in your content. This will help you know who you're talking to when your marketing. In researching them; you'll learn HOW to talk to this group of individuals.

Where do the people that like your content live? Geographics can help you relate to your audience. For example, live in Texas? Create content relatable to people who love the Texans, or people that are drawn to the cowboy culture. Live in Maryland? Share some facts about Maryland in relation to WHAT you do! Another thing analytics can shed light on, is what time(s) to post. When building, focus on times where your efforts will create maximum impact. Times where more people are online, times where YOUR people are online.
